童家公司有一个商业上对手叫高明真，双方一直用尽手段对付对方，但童辉和高因为一次偶然的机会共处孤岛，竟然彼此相爱了，恋爱没多久，高发现在两人相爱之前童辉用了计谋使她经济损失惨重，因此愤然与童辉分手，为了报复童辉，她就和陈泰铭联手，还找私家侦探调查童家，童辉分手后才发现自己最爱的人还是明真，为了挽回明真的心，他把自己的股份卖给舅舅弥补明真的损失，终于打动明真，电梯里拥吻就是这个时候的事情了，本来两人和好如初，明真也与陈泰鸣决裂，准备做童家一份子，偏偏这时候童辉发现明真竟然雇侦探调查他，两人在游艇上争吵，童辉盛怒之下将明真推倒致其死亡，临死前明真表明自己对童辉是真心真意，童辉后悔，自己在法庭上承认错手杀死明真，获得减刑。但在这之前他爸爸是不愿他坐牢的，就把明真尸体扔到海里，还找钟元做假证人，钟元不肯违背良心，陈泰鸣在这时就跳出来主动要求作假证取得了老头的欢心。 童辉后来的老婆是他公司的一个职员，还带着一个孩子，他因为第一次恋爱不相信明真导致悲剧，所以对这个女子非常信任，结果又令人大失所望，他的老婆是个为了利益可以放弃原则的女人，把很有利的证据卖给了陈泰鸣，童辉万念俱灰，在游艇上自杀。
